Extra Value

Stay-current profile discount (25%+)

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Being prepared should cost less, not more — keeping your family's profiles current earns you 25% or more off, automatically.

What it means for you

·       The single most important thing you can do to be ready — keep every profile current — is the same thing that lowers your price. You are rewarded for the work that actually protects your family.

How it works

·       The account tracks how current each member profile is. When your household stays current, a standing 25%+ discount is applied to your monthly subscription automatically — no coupon, no renewal dance.

How to find it

·       Settings → Subscription → Your discounts.

How you use it

·       Keep each member's photos, medical and identity details up to date.

·       The discount applies on its own while your profiles stay current.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Most apps charge everyone the same and reward nothing. POF lowers your price for doing the one thing that keeps your family ready.

First-responder/teacher/military discount (extra 10%+)

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

First responders, teachers and active military earn an additional 10% or more — and it stacks with the stay-current discount.

What it means for you

·       If you serve your community, you save more. A fully-qualifying family stacks both discounts for up to 35% off every month.

How it works

·       Eligibility is verified once; the additional 10%+ is added on top of your stay-current discount and both apply automatically each billing cycle.

How to find it

·       Settings → Subscription → Your discounts → Verify eligibility.

How you use it

·       Verify your first-responder, teacher or military status once.

·       Both discounts then apply automatically while your profiles stay current.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Trackers rarely recognize service at all. POF stacks a service discount on top of the prepared-family discount.

Foster / ward — complimentary Vigilant Guardian that's upgradable

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

First-class support for foster families and legal wards — including a monthly credit that can make premium protection free while a placement is active.

What it means for you

·       Foster families protect the most vulnerable kids and often on the tightest budgets. POF removes the cost barrier.

How it works

·       Foster/ward relationships are modeled; a license-gated monthly credit equal to a Vigilant Guardian plan offsets the bill (see pricing).

How to find it

·       Set up during profile creation and household setup; credit applies to billing automatically.

How you use it

·       Create foster/ward profiles like any member.

·       Verify foster status to activate the monthly credit.

Compared to the alternatives

·       No consumer safety app has a foster-family model or credit.

Privacy

Never sell your data

Subscription plan: All of our plans protect your data. Because of the fact we won’t do that, we can’t offer a free plan.

The core promise: your family’s location and identity data is never sold, brokered or monetized.

What it means for you

·       You should not have to trade your family’s privacy for their safety. With POF you never do.

How it works

·       No data-broker relationships; revenue comes from subscriptions, not from selling data.

How to find it

·       Stated in the app (Profile → About / Privacy) and on the profile of every plan.

How you use it

·       Nothing to configure — it is the default and the promise.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Life360 has a documented history of selling location data; POF’s business model is the opposite.

Available in English/French/Spanish

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Every screen, prompt and alert is available in English, French and Spanish.

What it means for you

·       In an emergency you should never fight the app's language. Whoever in your family opens POF sees it in the language they think in.

How it works

·       The full interface is localized — English, French and Spanish ship together — and follows each member's device language, with an in-app override.

How to find it

·       Settings → Language.

How you use it

·       Pick your language, or let the app follow your phone.

·       Every prompt, poster and alert then appears in that language.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Many safety apps localize marketing but leave the critical flows English-only. POF ships all three languages in the product itself.

Two-Factor Authentication

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Add a second layer of login security to your account.

What it means for you

·       Makes it far harder for anyone else to get into your family’s account.

How it works

·       TOTP-style second factor on login.

How to find it

·       Profile → Security settings → Two-factor authentication.

How you use it

·       Open Security settings from your Profile.

·       Turn on two-factor and follow the setup.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Expected of any serious safety app; included on every POF plan.

End-to-End Security Encryption

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Your family’s sensitive data is encrypted so only the right people can read it.

What it means for you

·       Even in the unlikely event of a breach, your data is protected.

How it works

·       Sensitive fields are encrypted at rest; access is authenticated and audited.

How to find it

·       Always on; managed under Profile → Security & privacy.

How you use it

·       Nothing to enable — encryption is always on.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Standard-setting for the category; not all trackers encrypt profile data.

Access Receipts For Data (To Ensure No Selling)

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Tamper-evident receipts that prove your data was not sold or shared outside the rules. See who accessed what, and when — including any staff or agency access.

What it means for you

·       Not just a promise — proof you can inspect.

·       Full visibility into every touch of your family’s data.

How it works

·       Hash-chained consent/sharing receipts (method P-011) create a verifiable record of data handling.

·       Access events are logged and surfaced in a readable history.

How to find it

·       Profile → Security & privacy → Access history / receipts.

·       Profile → Security & privacy → Access history.

How you use it

·       Open Security & privacy from your Profile.

·       Review the receipts and access history.

·       Open Access history from your Profile.

·       Review the log of access events.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A transparency mechanism no competitor offers.

·       A level of transparency trackers do not provide.

GDPR/CCPA Data Rights — export & delete

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Full data-access, export and deletion rights — for everyone, not just certain regions.

What it means for you

·       Your data is yours: see it, take it, or delete it, any time.

How it works

·       Self-service export and deletion flows honor GDPR/CCPA rights universally.

How to find it

·       Profile → Security & privacy → Data / Deletion management.

How you use it

·       Open Data management from your Profile.

·       Request an export or deletion.

Compared to the alternatives

·       POF extends these rights to all users regardless of location.

General Location Enabler

Subscription plan: Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Share an approximate area instead of an exact pin — admin-controlled, per member.

What it means for you

·       Sometimes “in the neighborhood” is enough. Teens and adults keep dignity without going dark.

How it works

·       An admin-controlled setting fuzzes exact coordinates to an approximate radius for chosen members.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Location & privacy settings.

How you use it

·       Open the member’s Location settings.

·       Enable the privacy bubble and set the area.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A privacy-respecting middle ground trackers do not offer.

Sharing Center Inside your Household

Subscription plan: Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

One place to see and control everything your household is sharing — and with whom.

What it means for you

·       All your sharing, in one clear panel you control.

How it works

·       A transparency/control panel over household, emergency, insurance and document-vault sharing groups, with per-group locks by plan.

How to find it

·       Profile / Household sharing settings → Sharing Center.

How you use it

·       Open the Sharing Center.

·       Review each sharing group and turn sharing on or off.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A unified control surface most apps scatter across menus. Others call this a Privacy Bubble.

Agency access termination & dashboard

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

You can see every agency or responder who has been granted access to a case — and cut that access off yourself, instantly.

What it means for you

·       When you invite law enforcement into a missing-person case, you stay in control. The moment their help is done, you end their access with one tap — you are never left wondering who can still see your family.

How it works

·       A household-facing dashboard lists each active agency grant with what it covers and when it started. Revoking a grant immediately invalidates that agency's access; every grant and revocation is written to your access history.

How to find it

·       Emergency tab → Agency access → Active grants.

How you use it

·       Open Agency access to see who currently has case access.

·       Tap Revoke on any agency to end it immediately.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Consumer trackers give you no view of, and no off-switch for, who is looking at your family. POF makes both the list and the kill-switch yours.

Document Vault (DL, Insur, Vehicle, Court Order, etc)

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Keep license, registration and insurance documents secure and handy for a stop or a crash.

What it means for you

·       The documents you need at the roadside, ready and encrypted.

How it works

·       An encrypted document vault holds driver documents for quick, controlled access.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Location → Drive Smart → document vault.

How you use it

·       Open the document vault in Drive Smart.

·       Add license, registration and insurance.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A driving-specific secure vault trackers do not provide.

Emergency & Recovery

SOS Alarm — instant panic broadcast

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

A one-press panic alert that silently notifies your chosen people with your live location.

What it means for you

·       When you cannot make a call, one press sends help your way — quietly.

How it works

·       The SOS flow alerts selected household members and emergency contacts, attaches location, and can send silently.

How to find it

·       Home tab → SOS (arm) → send.

How you use it

·       Open the Home tab and tap SOS.

·       Choose recipients (or alert everyone) and send.

·       Your location is attached automatically.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Comparable to Life360 SOS; included at Basic Safety and sends silently.

Emergency contacts per household

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

A managed list of the people who get alerted in an emergency.

What it means for you

·       The right people are already set up, so an emergency does not start with “who do I call?”

How it works

·       Per-household contact list (2 on Basic Safety up to 12 on Protected Family); each member may add up to 2 manual contacts within the household total.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Emergency contacts → Add contact.

How you use it

·       Open Emergency contacts from a member’s profile.

·       Add the people who should be alerted.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Foundational to every POF alert; contacts are never sold or marketed to.

Disaster-response alerts (FEMA/NWS)

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Official disaster and severe-weather alerts (FEMA, National Weather Service) for your family’s locations.

What it means for you

·       When a real emergency hits your area, you are told — alongside your family’s status.

How it works

·       Pulls official FEMA/NWS alerts relevant to household locations.

How to find it

·       Profile → Settings → Disaster alerts.

How you use it

·       Open Disaster alerts from Settings.

·       Confirm your locations and alert preferences.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Official alerts integrated into your family-safety hub, included on every plan.

Missing-Person Alert — report + poster

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Report a family member missing in one tap — and set the whole response in motion. A shareable “Missing” poster built instantly from the profile — ready for social media and print.

What it means for you

·       The first hour matters most. Instead of scrambling, you tap once and POF starts the alert, the packet and the community broadcast together.

·       Getting a clear poster out fast multiplies your eyes on the street. POF makes one in seconds.

How it works

·       A guided “Who is missing” flow builds the report from the existing profile and kicks off the broadcast and (where enabled) law-enforcement hand-off.

·       Assembles the primary photo, description and contact line into a poster image for sharing or printing.

How to find it

·       Emergency tab → Who is missing? → pick the member → confirm.

·       Generated as part of the missing-person report (Emergency tab → Who is missing?) and available from the active case.

How you use it

·       Open the Emergency tab and tap Who is missing?

·       Choose the family member and confirm last-seen details.

·       POF launches the alert, poster and community broadcast.

·       File the report, then open the case.

·       Share the generated poster to social media or print it.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Life360 has no missing-person workflow — you are left to call around yourself.

·       Families otherwise build posters by hand in a design app during the worst moment of their lives.

Community broadcast — zoned push/email/SMS (dynamic + environment-aware radius)

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

A smart alert to nearby POF families that grows outward over time — focusing the search where the person is most likely to be. The alert radius automatically tightens for bad weather or rough terrain — so searchers focus on where someone could realistically get to.

What it means for you

·       A missing person moves. A fixed “5-mile” alert is wrong within minutes. POF’s broadcast expands and shifts to follow the real probability.

·       A person cannot cover as much ground in a storm or in the mountains. POF accounts for that so the search is not spread too thin.

How it works

·       The patent-pending model (TIEC-2026-003-ERAS) sizes the radius from time elapsed, age, likely mode of travel and environment, then migrates the high-probability band outward as time passes — alerting people by their true distance, each told their own zone.

·       Server-side weather (NWS) and terrain (USGS elevation) factors shrink — never inflate — the computed radius, keyed off last-seen coordinates so it works even if the phone is dead.

How to find it

·       Runs automatically when you file a report; view it on Emergency tab → case → View search-zone map.

·       Part of the emergency broadcast; the “Conditions on the ground” note appears on the search-zone map.

How you use it

·       File the missing-person report.

·       Open the case and tap View search-zone map to see the live zones.

·       Nearby families are alerted and re-alerted as the zone expands.

·       No action needed — it runs inside the broadcast.

·       Read the conditions note on the search-zone map to see why the zone was adjusted.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Life360 has no community alerting; generic “amber” style alerts do not adapt to time, age or terrain.

·       No competitor factors live weather and terrain into a search area.

Auto-send case packet to law enforcement

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

The moment you report someone missing, a complete summary is prepared for police — not a frantic phone call.

What it means for you

·       When you call 911, you are often too upset to recall details. POF hands police a clear, complete packet automatically.

How it works

·       The report compiles identity photos, physical description, medical notes and last-known location into a shareable summary at report time.

How to find it

·       Runs automatically from Emergency tab → Who is missing? Review what will be sent on the confirmation screen.

How you use it

·       File the report from the Emergency tab.

·       Review the auto-prepared summary before it is shared.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Standard trackers leave you describing your child from memory to a dispatcher.

Law enforcement portal access

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Grant a specific police agency time-boxed, audited access to a case — and revoke it in one tap.

What it means for you

·       Police can see exactly what they need for your case, nothing more, and you stay in control of the access.

How it works

·       Agency access is granted per case with an audit trail; separate from the internal staff support dashboard.

How to find it

·       Household tab → household → Manage agency access (and Grant agency access).

How you use it

·       Open Manage agency access from the household dashboard.

·       Grant a named agency access to the case.

·       Revoke access at any time; every view is logged.

Compared to the alternatives

·       No consumer app gives you a controlled, audited law-enforcement sharing channel.

Community sighting intake & verification

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Nearby families can report a sighting, and you can review, map and verify each one.

What it means for you

·       The public wants to help but has nowhere to send tips. POF collects and organizes sightings so real leads rise to the top.

How it works

·       Sightings are captured with location and notes, plotted on a map and passed through a verification workflow with a timeline.

How to find it

·       Alerts tab → open the case → Report sighting; review incoming tips under Sightings / Verification.

How you use it

·       Responders tap Report sighting from the community alert.

·       You review each tip on the map and timeline and mark it verified or not.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Tip lines and social-media comments are chaos; POF structures and verifies them.

Comprehensive case packet

Subscription plan: Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

A print-ready, police-grade packet with photos, description, medical info and last-seen location — generated in seconds.

What it means for you

·       Everything a searcher or officer needs, in one document, without you assembling anything by hand.

How it works

·       Pulls the full profile into a formatted PDF you can view, save or share; regenerates as the profile updates.

How to find it

·       Emergency tab → Generate packet (or from an active missing-person case → Packet).

How you use it

·       Open the Emergency tab and tap Generate packet.

·       Choose the member; the PDF is built for you.

·       View, save or share it with searchers and police.

Compared to the alternatives

·       No tracking app produces a court-ready recovery packet.

Law enforcement collaboration tools

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

Give investigators the working tools — shared case notes, evidence exchange and status — to collaborate with your family during an active case.

What it means for you

·       When police are working your case, everyone is looking at the same, current information instead of trading phone calls.

How it works

·       Vigilant Guardian and above unlock collaboration tools on top of portal access: shared case timeline, document exchange and status updates, all access-logged.

How to find it

·       Emergency tab → Case → Collaboration.

How you use it

·       Open the active case and invite the assigned agency.

·       Share notes and documents; track status together in one place.

Compared to the alternatives

·       No consumer safety app gives families and investigators a shared workspace for a case.

Emergency Police and Adjacent Household Live Location Share

Subscription plan: Protected Family

During an active missing-person case, share a live, moving location with police and your emergency contacts — never with the open public.

What it means for you

·       When someone is found and moving, or when a trusted searcher is closing in, a live pin is worth a thousand messages.

How it works

·       A time-boxed live share streams location to chosen recipients (law enforcement, emergency contacts, adjacent members) for the duration of the case — not to the community.

How to find it

·       Emergency tab → active missing-person case → Live location share.

How you use it

·       Open the active case from the Emergency tab.

·       Tap Live location share and choose recipients.

·       Sharing ends automatically when the case is resolved.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Life360 shares your location with your circle continuously; POF’s emergency share is scoped to a case and to responders.

Profiles & Photos

Battery monitoring

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

See family members’ phone battery levels so a dead phone is never a surprise.

What it means for you

·       Knowing a phone is about to die changes how you read a silence.

How it works

·       Battery level is reported alongside location on the household view.

How to find it

·       Household tab → household map / member profile.

How you use it

·       Open the household view.

·       Check the battery indicator next to each member.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Life360 gates battery info to paid tiers; POF includes it on every plan.

Individual profile management

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Every member gets their own complete profile — identity, medical, photos and contacts — that you can manage in one place.

What it means for you

·       Each person in your household is more than a dot on a map. Their profile holds exactly what a searcher or paramedic would ask for, ready before you ever need it.

How it works

·       Each profile is a structured record (identity, medical, photos, marks, contacts) stored encrypted and versioned as details change.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open your household → tap a member's name.

How you use it

·       Open a member and fill in their details section by section.

·       Update any time — the profile stays the family's single source of truth.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Phone-tracking apps store a phone, not a person. POF keeps a real, usable profile for each member.

Family member profiles

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Build a full, recovery-ready profile for every member of your household — kids, parents, grandparents, dependents.

What it means for you

·       Safety is a whole-family thing. Every person gets their own complete profile, not just the kids.

How it works

·       Profiles scale by plan: 5 on Basic, 8 on Shield Bearer, 10 on Vigilant Guardian, 12 on Protected Family (plus paid extras — see below).

How to find it

·       Household tab → household → Add member.

How you use it

·       Open your household and tap Add member.

·       Complete each person’s profile with photos, medical info and marks.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Trackers register phones, not people — there is no rich per-person profile to build.

Extra members ($2.75/mo, as low as $1.50)

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Bigger families can add profiles beyond the 12 included in Protected Family — up to 18 total.

What it means for you

·       Large and multi-generational households are not left out: add exactly the members you need.

How it works

·       Profiles 13–18 bill at $2.75 each per month (discounts apply, as low as $1.50). Past 18, contact us for a residential-care arrangement.

How to find it

·       Household tab → household → Add member (you are told the added cost before you confirm).

How you use it

·       On Protected Family, tap Add member past the 12th profile.

·       Review the added monthly cost and confirm.

·       The change applies on your next billing cycle.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Flat-seat trackers simply cap you; POF scales to real family size.

11-angle identity photo set

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

A guided set of eleven photos captures a person the way searchers and police actually need to see them — not the way a single selfie shows them.

What it means for you

·       Most families only have a few flattering, front-facing photos. Recovery teams need profile, three-quarter and full-body angles. POF walks you through all eleven, one prompt at a time, so the set is complete before you ever need it.

How it works

·       The capture flow stores each angle against the member’s profile and versions the set over time, so the photos stay current as the person changes. Photos are encrypted at rest and never sold.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open your household → tap a member’s name → Photos → Start guided capture.

How you use it

·       Open the member’s profile and tap Photos.

·       Follow the on-screen prompts — front, left, right, three-quarter, full body and more.

·       Review the set; retake any angle. Re-run the capture whenever the person’s look changes.

·       Shield Bearer and above can export the set inside a recovery packet.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Life360 and most trackers store no identity photos at all — they track a phone, not a person.

·       A single social-media photo rarely matches what a witness sees from the side or behind; the 11-angle set is built for real sightings.

Body marks (scars/tattoos/birthmarks)

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Scars, birthmarks, tattoos and other permanent marks recorded on a simple body diagram — the details that identify someone when clothing and hairstyle change.

What it means for you

·       When someone is found, responders confirm identity by permanent marks, not by an outfit. Having them recorded, with photos and locations, saves critical minutes.

How it works

·       Marks are pinned to a front/back body diagram with an optional photo and note per mark, stored encrypted against the profile.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open your household → tap a member → Body Marks → Add mark.

How you use it

·       Open the member’s profile and tap Body Marks.

·       Tap the spot on the body diagram where the mark is.

·       Add a photo, description and any note, then save.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Phone-tracking apps capture none of this — they have nothing to hand a searcher if the phone is off or left behind.

Secure photo storage

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Every photo you add — identity angles, body marks, documents — is stored encrypted and never sold.

What it means for you

·       The photos that could one day identify your child are too important to sit in a camera roll. POF keeps them safe, private and ready.

How it works

·       Images are encrypted at rest, tied to the member's profile, and never used for advertising or sold to anyone.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open a member → Photos.

How you use it

·       Add photos to a member's profile.

·       They are encrypted automatically — nothing else to do.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Free photo apps monetize your images. POF encrypts them and never sells them.

Cloud backup

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Your profiles are safely backed up so you never lose your family’s preparedness.

What it means for you

·       A new phone, a lost phone — your years of preparedness come right back.

How it works

·       Encrypted cloud backup with scheduling and restore.

How to find it

·       Profile → Settings → Cloud backup (Backup schedule / Restore data / History).

How you use it

·       Open Cloud backup from Settings.

·       Set a schedule or back up now; restore on a new device.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Peace of mind that your preparedness survives a lost device.

Profile freeze for starting a new household/turning 18

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Pause, hand off, or recover a member’s profile — for custody changes, a child aging into their own account, or account recovery.

What it means for you

·       Life changes. A profile can move with a person or be safely paused without losing a year of preparedness.

How it works

·       Freeze/transfer flows with a one-year recovery window; a frozen adult can recover access.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Profile transfer / Self-freeze (recovery: Self-retrieve).

How you use it

·       Open the member’s profile.

·       Choose Profile transfer or Self-freeze as needed.

·       Recover within a year via Self-retrieve.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A thoughtful lifecycle tool absent from tracking apps.

Profile hold for foster/wards returning home

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

Place a foster child or ward's profile on hold when they return home — preserved, not deleted, ready if they come back.

What it means for you

·       Foster and kinship situations change. A hold keeps a returning child's profile intact and private so nothing is lost, and it can be reactivated the moment they are in your care again.

How it works

·       A held profile is retained but removed from active sharing and the live map; reactivation restores it. Distinct from a freeze, which is used when a member starts their own household or turns 18.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open a member → Manage → Hold profile.

How you use it

·       Open the member and choose Hold profile when they return home.

·       Reactivate it if they come back into your care.

Compared to the alternatives

·       No consumer tracker has a foster-aware hold state — POF was built for households whose membership changes.

Download 11-angle identity photo set

Subscription plan: Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Export the complete 11-angle identity set for a member as a ready-to-share packet.

What it means for you

·       If you ever need to hand photos to police or share them widely, you can pull the full set in seconds — no scrambling through your phone.

How it works

·       The stored 11-angle set is bundled into a single downloadable packet on demand for Shield Bearer and above.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open a member → Photos → Download set.

How you use it

·       Open the member's Photos.

·       Tap Download set to export all angles at once.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Trackers store no identity photos to export at all.

Adjacent households relationship links

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

Link a trusted household — grandparents, a co-parent, a caregiver — to share location and safety info between homes.

What it means for you

·       Grandma can see the grandkids’ status; a co-parent stays in the loop — without merging into one account.

How it works

·       Adjacent links are invited and accepted per household; they share scoped safety info and can appear as emergency contacts.

How to find it

·       Household tab → household → Family links → Invite household (other side: Accept link).

How you use it

·       Open Family links and tap Invite household.

·       The other household accepts the invitation.

·       Chosen safety info is now shared between the linked homes.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A genuinely differentiated POF capability — trackers have no concept of linked households.

Adjacent households profile transfer

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

Move a member's full profile to a linked, adjacent household — with permission on both sides — without rebuilding it.

What it means for you

·       When a child splits time between two homes, or an adult moves in with relatives, their identity and medical record should travel with them intact.

How it works

·       With both admins approving, the encrypted profile is transferred to the adjacent household, preserving photos, marks and medical details. Available on Vigilant Guardian and above.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open a member → Manage → Transfer to adjacent household.

How you use it

·       Choose the adjacent household to transfer to.

·       Both admins confirm; the profile moves without re-entry.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Trackers force you to start over in each new account. POF carries the whole profile across linked homes.

Adjacent household groupings

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Organize several linked households into a named group — an extended family, a co-parenting circle, a care team.

What it means for you

·       When more than two homes are involved, groups keep everyone organized instead of a tangle of one-to-one links.

How it works

·       Groups sit on top of adjacent links to cluster multiple households for shared context.

How to find it

·       Home tab → Manage household groups.

How you use it

·       Open Manage household groups from the Home tab.

·       Create a group and add your linked households.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Unique to POF; no consumer safety app offers multi-household grouping.

Forensic & Advanced

Age progression (only when necessary)

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

A deterministic, patent-pending engine that shows how a face is likely to look years later — generated by POF for police during long-term missing cases.

What it means for you

·       For a child missing for years, or an adult with dementia who wandered long ago, an old photo stops matching reality. When a case goes long-term, POF produces an updated, realistic search image so the photo the public sees still looks like the person today.

How it works

·       POF’s method (patent-pending, TIEC-2026-001-AGE) progresses the stored photo set using the family’s own baseline images, so results are grounded in the real person rather than a generic model. The engine takes in every member’s photos on every plan, but the predicted (aged) images themselves are generated and released by POF staff to law enforcement — they are not shown in the customer app today. A customer-facing self-view for Protected Family is designed and reserved for a future release.

How to find it

·       There is no customer button for the predicted images today — by design. Your part is keeping the 11-angle photo set current (Household tab → open your household → tap a member → Photos). If a member goes missing long-term, POF generates the progression from those photos and gets it to investigators.

How you use it

·       Keep the 11-angle photo set current — it is the input to the engine.

·       If a long-term case requires it, POF staff generate the aged image from your stored baseline photos and release it to law enforcement.

·       A self-serve view of your own household’s progressions is planned for Protected Family in a future release.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Families otherwise depend on law-enforcement forensic artists, who are scarce and slow; POF has a realistic progression ready from photos you already keep current.

Fingerprint storage

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

A guided legal way to record and safely store a family member’s fingerprints for identification.

What it means for you

·       Fingerprints are one of the fastest ways to confirm identity. Keeping your own copy means you are not waiting on anyone else in an emergency.

How it works

·       Prints are captured through a guided flow, stored encrypted, and released only by you — with a request-and-review step so another adult can ask and you approve.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open your household → tap a member → Fingerprints → Capture.

How you use it

·       Open the member’s profile and tap Fingerprints.

·       Follow the guided capture for each finger.

·       Review and save; approve any later access request from another adult in the household.

Compared to the alternatives

·       No consumer tracking app offers a private, family-held fingerprint vault.

Sighting analytics

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

Turn incoming sightings into a clear picture — where and when a missing member was reported, mapped and ranked.

What it means for you

·       Instead of a pile of tips, you and investigators see the sightings that matter, plotted on a map and timeline.

How it works

·       Verified sightings are aggregated into heat and timeline views with confidence weighting. Available on Vigilant Guardian and above.

How to find it

·       Emergency tab → Case → Sighting analytics.

How you use it

·       Open the case's sighting analytics.

·       Review the mapped, ranked sightings to focus the search.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Community-tip apps list tips; POF analyzes them into a searchable pattern.

Everyday Safety

Household live location sharing

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

See where family members are, right now, on a live map — without your data being sold.

What it means for you

·       The everyday reassurance of knowing everyone got where they were going — with a company that never sells that data.

How it works

·       Location updates stream to the household map with per-member controls; stored encrypted.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open a member → Location (live map).

How you use it

·       Open a member’s profile and tap Location.

·       View the live map and recent movement.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Life360 offers the same live map — but has a documented history of monetizing location data. POF never sells it.

Location history (30 days)

Subscription plan: Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

A rolling 30-day history of where a member has been.

What it means for you

·       Useful for peace of mind and, if something goes wrong, for reconstructing where someone was.

How it works

·       Location points are retained for 30 days per member and rendered as a history view.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open a member → Location → History.

How you use it

·       Open a member’s Location screen.

·       Tap History to see the last 30 days.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Free trackers keep little or no history; paid ones often sell the aggregate data. We do neither of those things. Ever.

Geofencing — safe zones

Subscription plan: Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Draw safe zones — home, school, grandma’s — and get alerts on arrival and departure.

What it means for you

·       Know your child made it to school without texting them, and know the moment they leave.

How it works

·       Circular and (on higher tiers) polygon zones trigger arrival/departure events and notifications.

How to find it

·       Household tab → household → Geofences → Add zone.

How you use it

·       Open Geofences from the household dashboard.

·       Draw a zone on the map and name it.

·       Choose who is alerted on arrival and departure.

Compared to the alternatives

·       On par with Life360 geofencing — without the data sale.

Automatic place detection

Subscription plan: Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

POF learns the places your family visits often and recognizes arrivals automatically.

What it means for you

·       Less setup — the app surfaces “arrived at school” without you drawing every zone by hand.

How it works

·       Frequent locations are detected from movement patterns and offered as named places.

How to find it

·       Surfaces on the member’s Location screen (Household tab → member → Location).

How you use it

·       Use location normally for a few days.

·       Confirm the places POF suggests to turn them into named zones.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Comparable to Life360 Places; POF keeps the underlying data private.

Manual check-ins

Subscription plan: Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Let a family member tap once to say 'I'm here, I'm safe' — any time, without waiting for a schedule.

What it means for you

·       A simple, deliberate 'I made it' that puts your mind at ease, sent exactly when your family member chooses.

How it works

·       A one-tap check-in posts the member's status and location to the household. Available on Shield Bearer and above.

How to find it

·       Home → Check in.

How you use it

·       Tap Check in when you arrive somewhere.

·       The household sees your safe status instantly.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Manual check-ins pair with automated ones so your family has both deliberate and hands-free reassurance.

Automated check-ins

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

Ask a family member to check in on a schedule — automatically — and know the moment they do (or don’t).

What it means for you

·       Standing arrangements — “check in every day after school” — run themselves, with a nudge if someone forgets. (Manual one-off check-ins are on every plan.)

How it works

·       Recurring check-in schedules generate prompts and record responses; no-shows escalate (see below).

How to find it

·       Emergency tab → Scheduled check-ins → Create check-in.

How you use it

·       Open Scheduled check-ins from the Emergency tab.

·       Create a recurring check-in and choose who and when.

·       Track responses in the check-in list.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Trackers offer manual check-ins at best; scheduled + escalating is rare.

No-show alerts

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

If someone misses a scheduled check-in, the right people are alerted automatically.

What it means for you

·       A missed check-in is exactly when you want to be told — without watching the clock yourself.

How it works

·       Check-in schedules that lapse trigger escalation notifications to chosen recipients.

How to find it

·       Configured with the check-in (Emergency tab → Scheduled check-ins).

How you use it

·       Create a scheduled check-in.

·       Set who is alerted if it is missed.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A distinctive POF safety net; not a standard tracker feature.

Check-in history

Subscription plan: Protected Family

A full history of a member’s check-ins over time.

What it means for you

·       See patterns and confirm routines at a glance.

How it works

·       Retains and displays the member’s check-in record.

How to find it

·       Emergency tab → Scheduled check-ins → history (or member Location area).

How you use it

·       Open the check-ins area.

·       Review the member’s history.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A deeper record than the one-off check-ins trackers offer.

Fall detection

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

Detects a hard fall and can raise an alert automatically.

What it means for you

·       For older relatives, a detected fall means help is called even if they cannot reach their phone.

How it works

·       Device motion signals are evaluated for fall patterns and trigger the alert flow.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Location & Alerts (enable fall detection).

How you use it

·       Open the member’s Location & Alerts area.

·       Enable fall detection.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Usually requires a dedicated medical pendant; POF puts it on the phone.

Inactivity alerts

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

Be alerted if a member’s device shows no activity for an unusual period.

What it means for you

·       Especially valuable for elderly relatives living alone.

How it works

·       Extended inactivity relative to normal patterns triggers a notification.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Location & Alerts.

How you use it

·       Open the member’s Location area.

·       Turn on inactivity alerts and set the window.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A wellness signal most trackers do not offer.

Anomaly/wandering pattern detection

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

POF learns a person’s normal routine and flags departures from it — built for dementia wandering and elopement.

What it means for you

·       For a loved one with cognitive decline, a break from routine is the earliest warning you can get.

How it works

·       An anomaly-detection engine (grounded in Martino-Saltzman wandering research and digital-phenotyping methods) models routine and scores deviations.

How to find it

·       Alerts surface in the Alerts tab and the member’s Location & Alerts area.

How you use it

·       Keep location on for the member.

·       Respond to pattern alerts as they arrive.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Purpose-built for wandering — a scenario generic trackers ignore.

Route replay — playback + court-ready export

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Replay a family member’s route over time — for trip playback or a court-ready location-evidence export.

What it means for you

·       Relive a road trip, or, if the worst happens, hand investigators a clean, exportable location history.

How it works

·       Admin-and-Tier-4-gated playback of stored location history with a formatted export for law enforcement.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Location → Route replay.

How you use it

·       Open Route replay from the member’s Location screen.

·       Scrub through the route; export if needed.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A court-ready location export is unique among consumer safety apps.

Medical

Medical info, allergies & conditions

Subscription plan: Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Allergies, conditions, blood type and key medical notes, on the profile, ready for first responders.

What it means for you

·       In an emergency, the first question is often medical. Having allergies and conditions ready can prevent a dangerous mistake.

How it works

·       Structured medical fields stored encrypted on the profile and surfaced in the recovery packet and medical QR code.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open your household → tap a member → Edit profile → Medical.

How you use it

·       Open the member’s profile and tap Edit.

·       Fill in allergies, conditions, blood type and notes.

·       Save — the info now feeds the medical QR code and recovery packet.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Trackers store no medical information; a paper card is easily lost or out of date.

Medication list

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

A current list of a family member’s medications and doses on their profile.

What it means for you

·       Responders and caregivers need to know what someone takes. (Automatic reminders to actually take them are a Protected Family feature — see Reminders below.)

How it works

·       A structured medication list stored on the profile; feeds the medical QR and packet.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open your household → tap a member → Medications.

How you use it

·       Open the member’s profile and tap Medications.

·       Add each medication, dose and schedule.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A private, always-current medication list is not something a phone tracker provides.

Medical QR code

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

A scannable QR code that shows a member’s critical medical info to a first responder — no login required.

What it means for you

·       If your child is found unconscious, a paramedic can scan the code and instantly see allergies and conditions.

How it works

·       A QR code resolves to a read-only medical summary drawn from the profile’s medical fields; no account or app needed to view it.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open your household → tap a member → Medical QR.

How you use it

·       Open the member’s profile and tap Medical QR.

·       Print it for a wallet, backpack or bracelet, or show it on-screen.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Medical-ID bracelets carry only a few words; the POF QR shows a full, editable medical summary.

Medication reminders (alarm + selfie-to-dismiss)

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Reminders to take medications — with proof-of-action — so you know a dose was actually taken.

What it means for you

·       For a parent or elderly relative, knowing the pill was taken (not just reminded) is the difference that matters.

How it works

·       A hybrid phone-alarm plus server-side detection prompts each dose and can capture a selfie as proof-of-action.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Medications → reminders (check-in / share).

How you use it

·       Open the member’s Medications screen.

·       Add a medication schedule to turn on reminders.

·       Confirm each dose (with an optional proof selfie).

Compared to the alternatives

·       Standalone pill apps do not tie into a family-safety platform or offer proof-of-action.

Life Simplifiers

Universal search

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Search everything you are allowed to see — people, places, settings — by typing or speaking.

What it means for you

·       Find any person or feature instantly, even in a stressful moment; dictation means you do not have to type.

How it works

·       An authorization-scoped search indexes the content you may access, supports typed and spoken queries, and logs sensitive-record access.

How to find it

·       Tap the search icon in the app header (available across the app).

How you use it

·       Tap the search icon.

·       Type or dictate what you are looking for.

·       Jump straight to the person, place or setting.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A cross-app search built for high-stress moments; trackers have nothing comparable.

School-calendar integration

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

Connect a child’s profile to their school for absence reporting and school-safety context.

What it means for you

·       One place to report an absence and keep school details with the child’s profile.

How it works

·       A school-link setup associates a child with a school and enables absence reporting. (Automatic calendar sync is a Protected Family upgrade — see below.)

How to find it

·       Household tab → open the child → School Link → Setup.

How you use it

·       Open the child’s profile and tap School Link.

·       Complete setup and use Report absence when needed.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A school-aware safety link trackers do not offer.

Household relationship links

Subscription plan: Basic Safety/Shield Bearer/Vigilant Guardian/Protected Family

Record how members of your own household are related — parent, child, sibling, guardian — so roles are clear.

What it means for you

·       Relationships drive who can do what and how a member appears to responders. Getting them right inside your home makes everything else behave correctly.

How it works

·       Each member is linked by relationship within the household; these links inform roles and permissions. This is the within-household counterpart to adjacent-household links.

How to find it

·       Household tab → open a member → Relationships.

How you use it

·       Open a member and set how they relate to others in your home.

·       Roles and permissions follow the relationships you set.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Trackers treat everyone as an anonymous device. POF understands your family structure.

School Calendar Auto-Sync

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Automatically pull the school calendar so days off, early releases and events line up with your family’s safety expectations.

What it means for you

·       The app knows when there is no school — so a “didn’t arrive” alert is not a false alarm on a day off.

How it works

·       Builds on School Link to sync the school calendar into the child’s schedule context.

How to find it

·       Household tab → child → School Link → School calendar.

How you use it

·       Set up School Link first.

·       Enable calendar sync to import school dates.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Calendar-aware safety is unique to POF.

Family tree viewer

Subscription plan: Protected Family

A visual family tree of your extended, multi-household family.

What it means for you

·       See the whole family at a glance — who belongs to which home and how everyone connects.

How it works

·       Renders household members and adjacent links as an extended-family visualization.

How to find it

·       Household tab → household → Family tree.

How you use it

·       Open Family tree from the household dashboard.

·       Explore the extended-family view.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A distinctive POF touch; trackers have no family model to draw.

Pets information

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Add pets to your family with their own profiles and medication/care alarms.

What it means for you

·       Pets are family too — and they have meds and vet needs to track.

How it works

·       Pet profiles with medication/care reminders live alongside human members.

How to find it

·       Household tab → household → Pet roster → Add pet.

How you use it

·       Open Pet roster from the household dashboard.

·       Add each pet and set care and medication alarms.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A genuinely family-complete touch no tracker includes.

Pet medication reminders

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Alarm-backed reminders for your pets' medications, just like the ones for people.

What it means for you

·       The dog's heart pill and the cat's insulin matter too. POF makes sure a pet's medication is never the thing that slips.

How it works

·       Each pet medication has its own schedule and phone-alarm reminder tied to the pet's record. Available on Protected Family.

How to find it

·       Household tab → Pets → open a pet → Medications.

How you use it

·       Add a pet's medication and schedule.

·       Acknowledge the alarm when you give the dose.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Pet care lives in yet another app for most families; POF keeps pets in the same safety net as people.

Special-date / birthday reminders

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Never miss a birthday or an important life event — across your whole extended family.

What it means for you

·       Keeps the family connected, not just safe.

How it works

·       Birthday and custom life-event reminders generate notifications.

How to find it

·       Profile → Settings → Special date reminders.

How you use it

·       Open Special date reminders from Settings.

·       Add birthdays and custom events.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A warmth-and-connection feature beyond pure tracking.

Driving Safety

Speed / movement alerts

Subscription plan: Vigilant Guardian & Protected Family

Get notified about unusual speed or movement for a family member.

What it means for you

·       An early signal that something may be off — a teen or anyone driving too fast, or unexpected travel.

How it works

·       Movement thresholds evaluated against location data raise alerts within the Location & Alerts area.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Location & Alerts.

How you use it

·       Open the member’s Location area.

·       Enable and tune the alerts you want.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Life360 puts driving speed behind its top tier; POF includes it at Vigilant Guardian.

Crash detection + automatic SOS

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Detects a serious car crash and can automatically alert your emergency contacts with your location.

What it means for you

·       If a teen driver crashes and cannot respond, help is summoned automatically.

How it works

·       Trip sensing evaluates for crash signatures and triggers the SOS/alert flow with location.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Location → Drive Smart.

How you use it

·       Open Drive Smart from the member’s Location screen.

·       Enable crash detection.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Life360 and Life Alert charge premiums for crash detection; POF includes it in Protected Family.

Driver behavior / teen report card

Subscription plan: Protected Family

A per-trip and rolling driving report card — speed, hard braking, phone use.

What it means for you

·       Coach a driver with real data, and reward safe habits.

How it works

·       Trips are scored on driving-behavior signals into a report card.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Location → Drive Smart → report card.

How you use it

·       Open Drive Smart for the driver.

·       Review trip scores and the rolling report card.

Compared to the alternatives

·       Comparable to Life360’s top-tier driving reports — without the data sale.

ETA sharing

Subscription plan: Protected Family

Share a live trip and ETA with family so they know exactly when you’ll arrive.

What it means for you

·       No more “text me when you’re close” — they can see it.

How it works

·       Active-trip sharing streams route and ETA to chosen family for the trip’s duration.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Location → Drive Smart → share trip.

How you use it

·       Start a trip in Drive Smart.

·       Share the live ETA with chosen family.

Compared to the alternatives

·       On par with premium trip-sharing; scoped and private.

What it means for you

·       Turn safe driving into something you can learn and reinforce. Plus there is the Driving Safety Guide.

How it works

How it works

·       Consent-receipt-backed sharing (hash-chained, P-011) of insurance details.

How to find it

·       Household tab → member → Location → Drive Smart → insurance sharing.

How you use it

·       Open insurance sharing in Drive Smart.

·       Share your proof of insurance with a receipt.

Compared to the alternatives

·       A verifiable insurance exchange is unique to POF.
